For so many of us buying plants can be a very daunting experience as there is so much assumption that you know what you are looking for and concerns that the plant will eventually look like the fabulous photo on the plant label.

The truth is that answering a few simple questions of position, soil type and care a good quality plant should thrive. The great news is that we can help.

We only buy the best quality plants so chances of survival cannot be any better and we are always delighted to advise you on how best to utilise your space - we speak a language we can all understand. After all we'd all like a beautiful garden, which does not require full time maintenance and has colour throughout the year.

We work with local growers wherever possible and you will be supporting the local community with our bedding, alpines, herbs, perennials and various herbaceous plants. Some of our bigger specimen plants would have made the journey from Italy, Germany and Holland and in some cases even further. The plants we stock are able to thrive in the many different soil types found in our area and again we are always happy to let you know where they will be most at home.

We believe that less is more. Why complicate things too much with 10 types of one product when we all know that 2 will do as long as we have the right ones for the job. We have tested and researched all the products we sell so we know that they work and are of a standard that we are happy with. Pots and Containers

You tend to find the same type of selection in so many garden centres so we have tried to find the extraordinary as well as the ordinary. Terracotta pots are fabulous in any garden and we have them in all shapes, sizes and colours. Stoneware has changed so much over the years and we carry a wide mix of both classic and contemporary items to provide interest, perspective and form in your garden. If you are not sure how it could look why don't you ask us to move a plant similar to one you may have in your garden and see how it looks. We're also happy to deliver if you're unable to take it away with you.
